He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol Wymelenberg of Milwaukee; his son Michael; his wife Sharon Watt; and his brother Edward "Eddie" Ney. He is survived by: his children, Mary Payson (Eliot) and William Ney (Linda); his grandchildren, Caroline, Alexander Ney, Mariehelena and Liliana Payson; his brother Thomas Ney (Ruth); his stepsons, Gregory and Christopher Wilken (Milda); and his great grandchildren, Teresa and Jonas.
