He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diana "Joy" Baird (Halpine); his children, Lucy Baird-Stoddard (Owen), Robert A. Baird (Moira) of Stratford, Bridget Baird of Stratford, Peter Baird (Megan) of Stratford, Patrick (Carly) of Stratford and Samantha Baird of Bridgeport; his sisters, Jane Baird (Laurie) of Stratford, Victoria Florek (John) of Stratford, Elizabeth Amato (Michael) of Orange and Maryanne Champagne (James) of Milford; and his parents, Robert Fraser Baird, Sr. and Marjorie Alice Baird (Barrett). He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, and many close nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bob Baird Memorial Scholarship, which will be given annually to a graduating senior from Stratford High School; or to a charity of your choice.
