She was predeceased by: her husband Sanford Apfel; and her parents, Leopold Baer and Natalie Baer. She is survived by: her children, Charles Apfel (Linda), Russell Apfel (Ellen), Richard Apfel (Maria), Lawrence Apfel (Audrey), Stuart Apfel and Paula Pollack (Robert); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Joshua, Sadie-Rose, Wesley, Rychelle, Woodrow, Sanford and Steven; her great grandchild Penny; and her brother William Baer (Lois). She is also survived by many extended family, friends.
