With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claire Hayas of Stratford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on November 10, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Petersen and Ethel Petersen (Magnuson); her husband Michael; her siblings, Robert Petersen and Effie Petersen; and her son-in-law Kevin Kisly.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hayas (Nanci) of Spofford, NH, Sharen Beloin (Gary) of Waterbury and Susan Kisly of Shelton; her grandchildren, Timothy Beloin (Melody), Cecile Mancini (Dennis), Matthew Beloin (Rebecca), Zachary Kisly Jr. (Jennifer), Ashley Shaff (Braeden), David Kisly and Jesse Warren; and her great grandchildren, Juliana, Christopher, Gabriella, Sophia, Porter Beloin, Nicolina, Donato, Ninetta Mancini, Zachary, Penelope Kisly, Derek Bartlebaugh and Levi Shaff. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family request those desiring may make donations in Claire's memory to the Bridgeport Hospital Burns Unit.
