Toula Vakos Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2023, at the age of 94, Toula Vakos (Stamford, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gregory Katsaros and Maria Gianukakis Katsaros; her husband John Vakos; and her siblings, Pete Katsaros, Joanna Michelis, Voula Moustaka, Angelica Panopoulos and Georgia Varotsis.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Vakos (Patricia) of Branford, CT, Maria Bennett (Don) of Warwick, RI, Vasso Pierne (Edward) of North Haven, CT and Georgia Grasso (Paul) of New Fairfield, CT; her grandchildren, Liana, Johnny, Debra, Brian, Ali of Michael, PJ, Nicki and Melanie; and her brothers, George and Jimmy Katsaros. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers donations in Toula's memory are encouraged and may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT 06905.
