She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Krouchuk and Mary Chrusch Krouchuk; her husband Julius M. Markiewicz; and her sisters, Ann Hoffman and Pauline Clark.
She is survived by: her son Tom (Beth) of Guilford, CT; her granddaughters, Kelly Markiewicz of Essex, CT and Jennifer Hanrahan (Steven) of Killingworth, CT.; and her great grandchild Mairin Hanrahan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
