He was predeceased by: his parents, Dimitrios Bakes and Georgia Bakes (Glekas). He is survived by: his wife Olga Bakes (Prois); his children, Dimitrios Bakes (Robyn) of Shelton, CT and Yianna Bakes Dimitroglou (Savva) of Stamford; his siblings, Irene Lagogiannis (Stefanos) of Athens, Greece and Konstantinos Bakes of Florida; and his grandchildren, Evangelos, Eva, Daphne and Miltiadis. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are encouraged and may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT 05905.
