It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calliope Demakos of Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Calliope Demakos to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Tsafoulias-Lines and Demetra Kanaras Tsafoulias-Lines; her husband Peter Demakos; her sisters, Stalla Limberis, Paula Condos and Freda Bitzonis; and her son-in-law George Galuris.
She is survived by: her children, Pauline Galuris of Stamford, Stella Stangel (Errikos) and George Demakos of Trumbull; her grandchildren, Joy Galuris, Dean (Ellen) and Peter Galuris (Kaitlin Demakos); her great grandchildren, Grace, Samantha, George, Jake Galuris, Brianna and Landon Simao; and her siblings, Helen Chochos and George Lines (Angie). She is also survived by nieces/great-nieces, nephews/great-nephews.
