Doreen D. Milewski Obituary

Doreen D. Milewski, 66 of Southington, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the UCONN Medical Center after a brief illness. Doreen was born in New Britain on November 11, 1956 and was the daughter of the late Robert and Ann (Ondrick) Milewski. She was educated in the Southington school system and was employed at New Britain General Hospital as a data entry specialist.

In her free time, Doreen loved to go to the casino, the beach, especially in Maine, fishing, and spending time with her companion Ron Warren Jr. who predeceased her in 2019. She was a beautiful, happy person who will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Doreen is survived by her siblings; her sister Deborah Milewski and her husband Dan Pistilli of Southington.

She also leaves behind her brother, Robert Milewski and his wife Lori also of Southington. Doreen is also survived by her niece Kathryn Pistilli and by three nephews, Kevin Pistilli, Andrew Milewski and Matthew Milewski. She will be missed by her close friends, especially Sharon Shirley, who was like a sister to her.

Doreen's family would like to extend their deep appreciation to Dr. Jorgensen and all of the staff at the Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer center of UConn for their tremendous care and compassion shown to Doreen and her family. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Doreen on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, South End Rd., Plantsville, CT 06457. There will be no calling hours.
