It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvette Mickenberg of Southbury, Connecticut, who passed away on August 10, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Risa Mickenberg of New York City and Julia Mickenberg of Austin, Texas; her granddaughters, Lena and Edie Birkholz; her son-in-law Dan Birkholz; her friend Howard Troyansky; her brother Mike; her sister-in-law Irene Alter; her sister Judee; her brother-in-law Joel Carpet; and her niece Marisa Weissman.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southbury Public Library or to Pomperaug Woods.
