Whitney of Southbury, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Whitney; her parents, Alfred Chittem and Cecilia Chittem (Lynch); and her brother Alfred Chittem. She is survived by: her children, Debra Daniels, Kathleen Knepple (John), John P. Whitney (Michaela) and Richard Whitney (Ann Marie); her grandchildren, Karen Yurek (Jonathan), John Michael Whitney (Michelle), Kristen Whitney Daniels, Robert Daniels (Kristyne), John Knepple IV (Haley), Joseph Whitney, Daniel Knepple, Mia Whitney, Jack Whitney and Sam Whitney; and her great grandchildren, William Yurek, Emily Daniels and Peter Knepple. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
