He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy. He is survived by: his children, Janet Rippel of Naugatuck, Diane Kalentek (Joseph) of Beacon Falls, Patricia Danielecki of Manhattan and Chuck Rippel (Carolyn Buvel) of Hamden; and his grandchildren, Olivia Kalentek and Alex Kalentek of Beacon Falls.
