She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Veroneau and Florence Veroneau (Valliere); her husband Stanley Pelkey; her grandson Lawrence Sherman; and her sisters, Jeannette and Claire.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Bureau Colavecchio (Vincent) of South Windsor, Cynthia Pelkey Sansom (Scott) of South Windsor and Larry Sherman of Enfield; her grandchildren, Emma Sansom, Arden Sansom, Leigh Sherman and Crystal Szedlacsek; her great grandchildren, Aiden Sherman and Madelyn Sherman; and her niece Shirley Duchette (Bob).
