She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Mele and Amelia Mele; and her granddaughter Lisa Striebel. She is survived by: her husband Edmund Striebel; her children, Paul Striebel (Diane), Cindi Oberly (Douglas) and Lori Thomas; her grandchildren, Michael Thomas (Emma), Meghan Oberly, Ashley Grizzaffi (Leo), Victoria Striebel, Morgan Monti (David) and Madison Oberly; and her great grandchildren, Hadley Thomas and Mia Monti.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cambria Hotel (1000 Long Leaf Ln, South Windsor, CT 06074).
