Lappen (South Windsor, Connecticut), born in Jamaica, New York, who passed away on October 18, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Howard Lappen; his brother Richard Lappen; his brothers-in-law, John, Joseph, Edward, Raymond and Richard Fitzgerald; and his son-in-law Thomas Mawson of Amston.
He is survived by: his spouse Jeanne Lappen (Fitzgerald); his parent Estelle Lappen; his children, Sharon Lappen of Andover, Scott Lappen (Lynne) of Tolland and Janice Mawson of Amston; his siblings, Jack Lappen (Barbara) of Manchester and Barbara Jean Johnson (Robert) of St. Petersburg, FL; his grandchildren, Matthew Lappen (Lauren) of Tolland, Shaun Lappen (Christie) of Coventry, Justin Lappen (Danielle) of Ashbury, NJ, Jessica Mawson of Plainville and Michael Mawson of Amston; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Fitzgerald of Manchester and Rita Lappen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
