It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Jensen Mikkelson of South Windsor, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter C. Mikkelson and Marie Mikkelson (Jensen); his siblings, Paul Huntington Mikkelson Sr., Harry Mikkelson, Andrew "Mike" Mikkelson, Aage Thomsen, Dorothy DeVeau, Robert Mikkelson and Sherwood Mikkelson; and his grandson Sinatra Mikkelson.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Mikkelson (Waldron); his children, Carl Mikkelson (Debbie Miles) of Seal Cove, ME, Matthew Mikkelson (Colleen) of Rock Hill, SC, Thomas Fraize (Maria) of Ellington, Eric Fraize (Shannon) of South Windsor, Kristen Kozikowski (Marek) of South Windsor, Karen Meffert (Jonathan) of Charlotte, NC, Elijah Mikkelson of South Windsor, Andrew Mikkelson of South Windsor and Harley Mikkelson of Bristol; his sister-in-law Nancy Mikkelson of Niantic; and his grandchildren, Kelsey, Keith, Lilliana, Braxtin, Samantha, Elaina, Nora, Marzena, Colin, Eli Jensen and Silas Bo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
