It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Amato of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James R. Amato; her parents, Clayton VanBuskirk and Edith VanBuskirk; her sister Sandra Hutton; her daughters, Debra Amato (Paul Shadic) and Cheryl Brock (Richard Brock); her granddaughters, Lisa Amato and Michele Lodigiani (Shawn); her great grandchildren, Carson and Brynn; her stepsister Roberta Bernier; and her brother-in-law Buro Amato.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Josephine Bakhita Parish (767 Elm St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).
