He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann Mauer (Montgomery); his parents, Glenn Mauer and Betty Mauer; his brother Gordie (Jeanine); his nephews, Chad and Eric (Rachell); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack, Olivia, Jen, Rob and Jake Gauthier; and his stepchildren, Lynne Valente, Gwynne Ferguson, Paula Smith and Jon Eccleston. He was also cherished by six grandchildren.
