He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alferie Sponcey and Rena Sponcey (Morin); his wife Beatrice; his sister Theresa Desmarais; his nieces, MaryAnn Gilbert, Patricia Williams and Nancy Shaffer; and his stepchildren, William Pierce, Brenda Stone, Elizabeth Fuller and Laura Auger. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
