It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louise Anne Mayo of Putnam, Connecticut, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ericson of Putnam and Glenna Ericson of Putnam. She is survived by: her children, Sheri Houghton (Shawn) of Putnam and Matthew Mayo (Ernest McLemore); her grandchild Haley Houghton; and also Matthew Brisco. She is also survived by seven brothers and sisters.
Due to the restrictions of the COVID pandemic and concerns for the health and welfare of all, services will be private, although a small outdoor gathering of remembrance for family and close friends will be held later in the Spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the food and diaper bank at IHSP-Daily Bread in Putnam, as well as the American Cancer Society.
