She was predeceased by: her parent Ernest Johnson. She is survived by: her parent Edith Johnson (Swanson); her spouse Maurice Paine; her daughters, Gail (Ted) of Thompson and Greta (Bruce) of Killingly; her grandchildren, Jason Beausoleil (Jamie Stearns) of Storrs, Ryan Szarkowicz (Jessica) of Thompson, Megan Teal (Michael) of Woodstock and Erin Turner (Ryan) of Thompson; her great grandchildren, Gage, Madison, Tanner Beausoleil, Collin Teal, Kaitlyn Teal, Ryan Szarkowicz and Avery Szarkowicz; and her brothers, Merrill Johnson and Kenneth.
Her great grandchildren were also a source of great pride and joy; however, in the last few years her Alzheimer's disease affected her quality of life and prevented her from being more involved in their lives.
