It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Frank Sheldon of Putnam, Connecticut, who passed away on August 10, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley Sheldon, Sr. and Hazel Harman; his brother Stanley, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Mary Sheldon and Roy Copeland; his wife Alice of Putnam, CT; his sons, Stephen Sheldon (Elaine) of Bozrah, CT and Michael Sheldon (Jeri) of Saco; his grandsons, Brian Sheldon, Jason Sheldon (Heidi) and Patrick Sheldon (Tiana); his great grandchildren, Logan, Ingrid and Weiland Sheldon; and his sisters, Janice Copeland of Putnam, CT and Virginia Meehan (Bill) of Willimantic, CT.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private family service will be held in Putnam to be followed by a celebration of life sometime in the future after social distancing restrictions have been lifted.
