He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester and Stasia Misiaszek Sr. (Boyko); and his niece Melissa Galenski. He is survived by: his sister Joan Galenski (Donald) of Woodstock; and his niece Heidi Urias (Luis) of Los Angeles, CA..
