He was predeceased by: his son Patrick; and his sister Lora Cripps. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen McGuire (Joseph "Jay") of Orange and Elizabeth Sperry; and his grandchildren, Ryan McGuire (Jenna), Meghan Edwards (Hunter) and Molly McGuire. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
