She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frank A. Proto; her children, Deborah A. Proto, Richard R. (Ann Proto) and Robert P. Proto; her grandchildren, Jennie (Jasper Gondhi), Jill, Gabriella, Sloane and Carter; her great grandchild Lydia; her parents, Adeline Ceccarelli and Dante Ceccarelli of West Haven; and her siblings, Robert, Arthur, Dante Jr., Emily Giamo and Beverly Ferrie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
