She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bitzer and Madeline Bitzer (Tiernan); and her sisters, Roberta and Kathryn Bitzer. She is survived by: her goddaughter Diane Lewis of Orange; her cousins, Mark Lewis of Milford, John Lewis of Ansonia, Mary Grening (Steven) of Torrington, Brian Lewis (Joan) of Old Saybrook, Alicia Tiernan-Smith of Florida and Robert Smith of Florida; and her pet Jimmy.
