It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Antone Robert Opekun of Orange, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Lauder Opekun; and his parents, Antone Opekun and Mary Kubisch Opekun. He is survived by: his sons, Antone Opekun (Julia) and Matthew Opekun (Robin) of Naugatuck; his grandchildren, Curtis Opekun (Laura), Rebecca Lascko (Marc) of Thomaston and Alexander; and his great grandchildren, Tanner, Kaitlyn Opekun, Hunter and Maxx Lascko of Thomaston.
