She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Robert Valaitis; her parents, William Henry Burke, Jr. and Audrey B. Carr (Dean) of Bountiful, UT.; her son Andrew L. Posey of Bossier City; and her sisters, Georgia Carr and Peggyann Booth (Carr).
She is survived by: her children, James M. Burke of San Fransisco, CA, Dawn M. Valaitis of Waterbury and Christopher R. Valaitis (Jenny); her granddaughter Dahlia Rae Valaitis of Waterbury; her siblings, Valerie Hendrickson of Hurricane, UT, April Drinkwine of San Antonio, TX and Harold Carr (Flavia); her sister-in-law Claire Dwyer (Dennis) of Southbury, CT; and her nephews, Sean Dwyer of Middlebury, CT and Peter Dwyer of Southbury, CT.. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews & great great nieces & nephews.
