We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2023, at the age of 79, Gerald F. Johnston of Oakville, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnston and Kathleen Johnston (Brown); and his siblings, James, Richard, Michael, Robert, Margaret Brick and Bonnie Lamantini.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Johnston (Gizzi); his children, Sean Johnston (Judy) of Oakville and Eileen Johnston (Justin Thomas) of Bristol; his grandchildren, Ryan, Rebecca and Violet; and his sisters, Judy Johnston, Sandy Bartolini, Carol Johnston and Marian Huckins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
