He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Piurkowski and Pauline Piurkowski (Boruch). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Piurkowski (Berardi); his children, Eric Piurkowski (Nellie) of Southington and Amy Bigliazzi (Kevin) of Bolton; his grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan Bigliazzi, Samantha and Lauren Piurkowski; his siblings, Wanda Koch (Ernie), Susan LaPierriere (Dennis), Theresa Nadolny (Matthew) and Stanley Piurkowski (Melissa); and his sisters-in-law, Susan Schumacher (George) and Kathy Brochu (Andrew). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID 19 crisis, all services will be announced and held at a later date.
