He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Tardy and Jennie Tardy (Aaronson); his sons-in-law, David Ingraham and Gary Bessette; and his siblings, Maynard, Maurice, Howard Tardy, Eva Tardy Cowpertwaith, Alice Tardy Conley and Ruby Tardy Corbett.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Tardy of Presque Isle; his daughters, Sonya Ingraham of Mars Hill and Deborah Carey (Tom) of Goshen, CT; his brother Ralph; his sister-in-law Jean Tardy of Blaine; his sisters, Annette Tardy Conley of Wolcott, CT and Beatrice Tardy Thomas of Michigan; his grandchildren, Amanda Werner (Kurt) of Winsted, CT, Mitchell Bessette (Brittany) of Falmouth, MA, Drew Bessette of Portland, Randal Ingraham (Jessica) of Ashland and Hailey Ingraham of Mars Hill; and his great grandchildren, Beau, Lilly, Julianna and Kacen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
