We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2019, at the age of 102, Anna Lopes (Oakville, Connecticut), born in New York, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zopko and Mary Zopko (Schwatz); her sons, Anthony S. Lopes and Richard A. Lopes; her daughter-in-law Dorothy; and her siblings, Julia Cross, Katherine Kean, Frances Rivers, Mary Kaminski, Pauline Owenby, Elsie Duart, Harry Zopko and Joseph Yablonski.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joanne Collier (Charles) of New Albany, OH and Sylvia Lafreniere (Larry) of Terryville; and her siblings, John Yablonski of Naugatuck and Willetta Bradshaw of Oakville. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
