Louis was born on October 26, 1938, in Middletown, Connecticut, to his loving parents, Giuseppe and Salvatrice Ciccarello. He was raised in Middletown alongside his sister Annie and his brothers Michael, Mario, and Salvatore. While his siblings Mario, Michael, and Annie have preceded him in death, his brother Salvatore continues to carry the family legacy. Louis's educational journey was marked by a passion for learning and achievement. He earned his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University, a foundation that led him to.

In recent years, he was able to relish these joys at his retirement home in Boynton Beach, Florida, with his love and partner, Susan Blazer. They were poised to celebrate 25 years of love and companionship this November. Louis was previously married to Marilyn Robinson, and together they were blessed with three children: Jeffrey, Matthew, and Lynne. Both Jeffrey and Matthew have preceded him in death. He also embraced the family of his marriage to Joan Ablett, and her children, Jonathan and Elizabeth. Louis leaves behind a cherished legacy, including his daughter, Lynne Ciccarello, and grandsons Luke and Grant Ciccarello. His brother, Sal, nieces, nephews, and a host of loving relatives also mourn his passing. Louis's partner, Susan Blazer, along with her children Marci and Jason, and their respective families, will forever hold him dear in their hearts.

A memorial service to celebrate Louis's remarkable life will be held on September 18 at St. Matthews Church in Norwalk at 10:00.
