It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley L. Asid (North Haven, Connecticut), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward P. Asid; her parents, James Lacy and Helen Scherer Lacy; her stepgranddaughter Brandy Wofford; and her sister Lorraine VanderWende.
She is survived by: her children, Mark E. Asid (Susan), Marlene Asid and Deborah Sharron (Patrick); her grandchildren, Brian P. Asid, Hillary A. Mitchell (Craig), Jonathan and Kevin Field; her stepgrandchildren, Kira Markham, Michael Sharron and Dylan Asid; her great grandchild Zane Edward Mitchell; and her caregiver B. J.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
