With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria A. Abbott of North Haven, Connecticut, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on March 11, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, William M. Farrell and Elmer G. Abbott; her parents, Gustav Peterson and Florence Carlson Peterson; her sister Dorothy Appel; and her son David Farrell.
She is survived by: her brother John Peterson (Betty); her nephews, Fred Appel (Jane), Raymond Appel (Ursula), Scott Peterson (Rachel) and Stephen Peterson; and her friend Char Hemstock. She is also survived by six children and ten great-grandchildren.
