He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald R. Knapp and Margaret A. Knapp. He is survived by: his daughter Karen Knapp Parrish; his stepdaughters, Marilyn and Katherine; his sister Patricia Knapp Smith; his nieces and nephews, Martin, Andrew, Jennifer and Carey; his caregivers, Betty and Shaynna; and his close friend Norb. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandsons.
