He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Ventura Pereira and Maria Jose Carreira Pereira; and his siblings, John, Sylvester and Jamie Pereira.
He is survived by: his spouse Ermelinda Medeiros Pereira; his children, Tanya M. Pereira (Andrew Orcutt) and Tony M. Pereira (Katrina); his grandchildren, Layla, Lana and Maya; his siblings, Maria Terese Komar (Andre), Angelo Pereira (Natalia), Durval Pereira (Gloria DeSilva) and Jose Manuel Pereira (Ursilina); and his sisters-in-law, Rosa and Anna Pereira. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
