We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2019, at the age of 94, Ina C. Peterson (Noank, Connecticut), born in Mystic, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Craig and Alice Craig (Stevens); her husband Gerhard L. B. Peterson; her daughter Lisbeth McLaughlin; her brother Malcolm Craig; and her grandsons, David McLaughlin and Wayne Smith Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Gerhard Petersen, Jr. (Betty) of Mystic, Carol Smith (Wayne) of Stonington, Robert Petersen (Tina) of Noank, Thora Amaral (George) of Groton, Nancy Allen (James) of Stonington and Edward Peterson (Lynette) of Middletown; her sisters, Carolyn Hanley of Mystic and Martha Deveau of Zephyrhills, FL; her grandchildren, Cheryl, Sabrina, Laurence, George Amaral, Jr., Matthew, Christina, Heather, Tyler, Edward and Emma; her great grandchildren, Natasha, Meagan, Asia, Damon, Mya, Aaani, Hunter and Elana; and her great great grandchild Allen Carter III. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
