It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Eldridge Whitaker Jr. (Niantic, Connecticut), born in Foster, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 19, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Christine; and his son Todd. He is survived by: his parents, Walter Whitaker and Nora Whitaker; his daughters, Kimberly Goff (Bruce) and Kristen Beebe (Louis); his grandchildren, Amanda Sullivan (Kevin), Christy Goff and Todd Whitaker Jr.; his wife Alba; his great grandchildren, Layla Sullivan and Anya Sullivan; his daughter-in-law Patricia Whitaker; and also, Katy Whitaker, Leah Beebe and Allora Beebe.
