She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Landis and John Landis; her sister Janet Bartku; her son Robert Powers Jr.; and her grandson Shannon Powers.
She is survived by: her son Shawn; her husband Robert Kenneth Powers; her children, Michael Powers of East Lyme, Kristen Powers of Groton and Nancy Kelley of Niantic; and her grandchildren, Sherri Lynn, Jeremy Powers, Patrick, Timothy, Daniel, Christopher Kelley, Robert Kenneth III, Anthony Powers and Ashley Garcia. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
