It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thornton Masten (Niantic, Connecticut), born in Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on December 9, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Masten and Thelma Masten; his wife Geri; his daughters, Jill Masten Urbain of Newtown, Laurie Masten Torrance of Laporte and ColO; his sons-in-law, Aaron Urbain and Tom Torrance; his brother Lee Masten (Linda) of Bennington, VT.; his sister-in-law Jayne Olsen; his nieces and nephews, Rena, Kristina, Kyra, Lee Jr. and Tyler Mario (Laura); and his great-nieces, Camden and Isabel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his favorite charities in memory of Thornton: the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keensburgh, Colo. and/or the Connecticut Audubon Society, Fairfield.
