With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Simons Beckwith (Niantic, Connecticut), born in Canton, Connecticut, who passed away on June 28, 2018 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Russell Howard Beckwith; her daughter Susan Beckwith Pfanner; and her siblings, William Simons and Marion Caird. She is survived by: her parents, William Simons and Lea Simons (Blanc); her daughters, Deborah Beckwith Sullivan (Michael), Diane Beckwith Sullivan and Shirley Beckwith; her grandchildren, Jill Pfanner Lloyd (Jay), Robert D. Pfanner (Rachel), Christopher Sullivan and Amie Sullivan Evans (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Morgan Lloyd and Brooklyn Evans; and her sister Elizabeth Peckham. She is also survived by three nieces and two nephews.
