She was predeceased by: her son Scott R. Swanson; her parents, Cyril Coates and Jean Coates; her sisters, Ginger St. John and Gail Ryan; and her former husband Russell B. Swanson.
She is survived by: her husband Stanley J. Suski; her children, Marcia Neville (Silvio) of Niantic and Jay Suski (Renee Bauer) of Durham; her brother James Coates of Terryville; her grandchildren, Laura Lima (Hugo) of Souza, Mark Neville, Kendall Suski, Emerson Suski, Aiden Suski and Ethan Berman; and her great grandchild Ian Scott Lima of Souza.
