He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Kaplonska; his parents, Stanislaw Koprowski and Mariana Koprowski; and his brothers, Alex, Zygmund and Peter.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Kupisz (Elizabeth Kelly) of Groton; and his brothers, Josef and Jan of Poland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
