With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Ruth Wallack (Niantic, Connecticut), born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on December 2, 2019 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Wallack; her parents, Stephen Dudack and Sarah Dudack (Ringrose); her siblings, Stephen Dudack, Rev. William Dudack, Mary Casey (Jerry) and Sarah "Sally" Carroll (Jim); her son-in-law Rick Schlegel; and her parents-in-law, Helen Wallack, Mildred Rental (Chet), Lovey Mendillo (Vincent) and John Wallack (Nancy Lovis).
She is survived by: her children, Peter (Ellen Tepper) of Boston, MA, Mary Schlegel of Mt. Vernon, OH, Judith Moor (Joel) of Columbus, OH, John "Jack" (Pam Belden) of Ridgewood, NJ, Jane Guzauskas (Dan) of Anchorage, AK, Sarah Horton (Tim) of Stowe, VT, Teresa Waldron (Peter) of Allentown, PA and William "Bill" (Amy King) of Stamford, CT.; her grandchildren, Timothy Wallack (Andrea Zambrano), Ben Schlegel, Andy Schlegel, Guinevere Schlegel Steensen (Michael), Emily Wallack, Christopher Wallack, Allison Wallack, Sam Guzauskas (Jessica), Dave Guzauskas, Katrina Horton Handwerger (Ben), Nathaniel Horton, Madaline Waldron, Sophia Waldron, Andrew Waldron and Michelle Wallack; and her great grandchildren, Aden, Elias and Oliver Steensen. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and three great grandsons.
