It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian Brousseau of Niantic, Connecticut, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Karen; his children, Jacqueline (Dylan Goetsch) of Chicago, IL and Brian of Huntington Beach, CA.; his siblings, Elizabeth Brousseau of Westerly, RI, Missy Brousseau (Skip) of Westlake Village, CA and Jeremiah Brousseau (Deb) of Vero Beach, FL.; his siblings-in-law, Ed Avena (Sandy) of Oswego, IL, Ken, Rob Avena (Erica) of East Lyme, CT and Martha Martin (Stuart) of Hebron, KY.; and his parents, Alfred J. Brousseau Sr. and Josephine Brousseau (Leydon).

Brian was a frontline healthcare worker during the COVID-19 pandemic and was proud to administer thousands of COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, including to Senator Richard Blumenthal.

Donations in memory of Brian can be made to the American Heart Association.
