He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Whiting and Frances Swett Whiting; and his brother Richard Whiting. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Whiting; his daughters, Jacquelyn Whiting (Brett Baker) and Cristin Whiting (Colin Allured); and his grandchildren, Zachary Boland, Emma Boland, Julia Whiting-Bryant and Colin Whiting-Bryant.
