It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Wessel of Newtown, Connecticut, born in Danbury, Connecticut, who passed away on May 30, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Foster and Dorothy Foster (Mead); and her husband Gary Wessel of Simsbury, CT.. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Ginch (Suzanne) of Fairfax, VA and Barry Ginch (Anne Elizabeth) of Scottsdale, AZ; her stepchildren, Ethan Wessel (Sarah) of Phoenix, AZ and Stephanie Rickard (DJ) of Milford, CT.; her grandchildren, Brandon, Erin, Kylie, Braydon, Addison, Elliot and Aiden; her sister Arlene Schmidt (Charles) of Bethel, CT; and her former husband James Ginch of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
