He was predeceased by: his parents, Raffaele Sgammato and Pasqualina Sgammato (Mari); his wife Georgette Sgammato (Mazzucca); his son Frederick G. Sgammato; and his siblings, Dominick, Frank, Raffaele Jr. Sgammato and Mary Giannoni (Sgammato).
He is survived by: his daughter Patricia Sgammato Teitelbaum (Stuart) of Stamford, CT; his brother Chuck Sgammato (Lillian) of Lakeland, FL; his grandchildren, Peter Teitelbaum (Allison) of Stamford, CT, Brian Teitelbaum (Alicia) of Stamford, CT, Lisa Teitelbaum Micolo (Steven) of Norwalk, CT and Jason Teitelbaum (Katelyn) of Stamford, CT; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Makena, Britney, Kendall, Kiera, Maci and Andrew. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic a memorial celebration in Fred's honor will be held at a future date.
