He was predeceased by: his son Philip Skalandunas; his parents, Michael Skalandunas and Ethel Skalandunas of Byram, Connecticut.; and his brothers, Michael and Peter Skalandunas.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Skalandunas; his children, Gary Skalandunas (Alexa) of Newtown and Dana Jasensky (Michael) of Bethlehem, CT; his grandchildren, Kyra, Zachary, Aliya and Ryan Jasensky; and his siblings, Edward Skalandunas of Riverside, CT, Thomas Skalandunas of Killingworth, CT and Joy Kiratzopoulos of Melbourne, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
